Responsibilities
- Conduct complex data analysis to support tax administration and policy development initiatives.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating datasets and performing statistical modeling.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on data extraction and cleaning methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large databases and extracting meaningful insights.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
