Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis of large-scale datasets to support policy formulation and strategic planning for NYC agencies.
- Design and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, policy advisors, and project managers, to define data requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal and local government regulations and standards.
- Conduct advanced statistical modeling to forecast trends and evaluate the impact of proposed initiatives.
- Present complex technical findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, persuasive, and executive-level manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related capacity within the public sector or a large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, as well as Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background investigation and security clearance process.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
