Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve key business challenges.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within massive datasets.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems and scalable APIs.
- Define metrics for model performance, conduct rigorous testing, and continuously optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear data visualization and reporting.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in data science and AI to propose innovative solutions and methodologies.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with strong knowledge of data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks) and model evaluation techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and derive insights from ambiguous data.
