Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental regulations aligned with federal EPA standards
- Analyze complex environmental data to inform policy recommendations for state legislators
- Lead stakeholder engagement with industry leaders, environmental groups, and local communities
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and policy briefings for the Texas Environmental Quality Board
- Coordinate interagency initiatives with Texas Parks & Wildlife and Texas Department of Agriculture
- Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts on environmental programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in environmental policy development or regulatory compliance
- Deep knowledge of federal environmental regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act)
- Advanced proficiency in environmental data analysis tools and GIS systems
- Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder collaborations
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide
