Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce environmental regulations for industrial and municipal facilities
- Conduct site inspections and compliance audits to ensure regulatory adherence
- Analyze environmental data and prepare comprehensive technical reports
- Coordinate with federal agencies (EPA) on cross-jurisdictional environmental programs
- Provide expert guidance to local government entities and industry stakeholders
- Lead public outreach initiatives on environmental protection policies
- Manage complex environmental permitting processes for major infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of regulatory compliance experience
- Professional certification (e.g., QEP, CHMM) strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of TCEQ regulations and EPA standards
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis software
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder environmental projects
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
