Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive field inspections of industrial facilities to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations
- Analyze air, water, and soil quality data using GIS mapping and statistical analysis tools
- Develop and implement pollution prevention plans for commercial and municipal operations
- Prepare detailed technical reports and enforcement documentation for regulatory actions
- Coordinate with local government agencies and industry stakeholders on environmental initiatives
- Maintain accurate regulatory databases and compliance tracking systems
- Provide expert testimony at administrative hearings and public meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance experience with regulatory agencies
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Environmental Professional (REP) certification
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and environmental data analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ regulations, EPA standards, and NEPA compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical report writing experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel throughout North Texas region
- Experience leading cross-functional environmental projects and stakeholder management
