Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security testing for federal systems.
- Manage incident response activities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and other federal security standards.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Lead security awareness training sessions for federal personnel.
- Monitor security trends and recommend improvements to the security architecture.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or DoD cybersecurity environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security architectures, encryption protocols, and firewalls.
- Excellent communication skills for briefing senior leadership on technical risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
