Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security gaps within federal systems.
- Manage and maintain compliance with FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP security controls.
- Lead incident response efforts for cyber threats, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal impact to operations.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to federal personnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Monitor industry trends and emerging threats to proactively strengthen our defense posture.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with favorable adjudication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Certifications such as CISSP, GCFA, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for briefing senior leadership.
