Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for strategic reporting.
- Design and maintain secure databases, ensuring compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate raw data into actionable business intelligence.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on data pipelines and reporting deliverables.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with all relevant federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with federal data classification and security protocols (FISMA, NIST).
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain or possess a Secret Security Clearance.
