Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of federal agency IT infrastructure and software solutions.
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical architectures.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific compliance policies.
- Conduct thorough system audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, security analysts, and subject matter experts to drive project milestones.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, deployment guides, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal or Government contracting environments.
- Active Public Trust or Secret level security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and virtualization platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
