We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Federal IT Project Manager to join our growing team in Austin, Texas. This is an Immediate Hire opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage critical infrastructure projects for federal agencies.
In this role, you will drive the execution of complex IT initiatives, ensuring compliance with strict federal regulations while delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and closure of federal IT projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to FISMA compliance and agency-specific security protocols.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including briefings for senior government officials.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal IT projects.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher (required).
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and federal acquisition regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
