Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure) for federal clients.
- Ensure full compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST security standards.
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for mission-critical systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Manage project lifecycles using Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal IT environments.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
