Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of federal IT systems, including deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST security standards, FISMA, and federal agency policies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and incident response for network and system outages.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff within the federal division.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or cleared government contracting.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies, and containerization.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership.
