Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, servers, and workstations to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting during weekend shifts to minimize agency downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards, NIST protocols, and agency-specific IT policies.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security patch management.
- Document technical configurations, incident reports, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to identify technical requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or federal contract support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and federal compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently during off-hours.
