Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) during weekend shifts.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and support server hardware and operating systems.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Conduct user training sessions on new systems and security protocols.
- Respond to critical incidents with urgency and precision to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during off-hours and weekends.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
