Key Responsibilities:
As a Federal Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of federal IT systems, ensuring compliance with strict government regulations and security standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and resolve complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement complex federal information systems and software solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and FedRAMP security protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet agency objectives.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware or software issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government IT contracting or a related sector.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required; ability to obtain Secret clearance if applicable.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and government acquisition regulations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions.
