Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems for Federal and State clients.
- Ensure compliance with NIST security frameworks and agency-specific regulations.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and system optimization for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive data.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in federal systems engineering or software development.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity protocols.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to travel to client sites in Colorado Springs or Ohio as required.
