Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, administration, and maintenance of server infrastructure and operating systems.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols and data protection policies to safeguard sensitive state information.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring high availability.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual errors.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring to identify vulnerabilities and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud solutions and hybrid environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators and junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, etc.).
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management solutions.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
