Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for federal IT contracts, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Facilitate effective communication between government stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to prevent schedule or budget overruns.
- Conduct regular status reviews and performance reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proven experience managing Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies in complex environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (DFARS) and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams and collaborate effectively in a distributed work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
