Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of complex IT systems and software applications used by state agencies.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and data integrity analysis to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Provide expert technical support and mentorship to junior staff members and other government departments.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis or a related technical role within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and database management (SQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (or equivalent).
