Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality geospatial data layers and interactive web maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into enterprise applications and reporting systems.
- Perform complex spatial analyses to support county initiatives, including zoning, emergency response, and resource allocation.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal and state standards.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on GIS methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS analysis, cartography, and database management.
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise).
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, or scripting languages for data automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
