About the Role:
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in data-driven decision-making, ensuring our weekend operations run efficiently and in compliance with city regulations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, preparing high-level reports for stakeholders, and optimizing operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex government data and operational metrics to identify trends and inefficiencies.
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive reports for city council review and public distribution.
- Manage and allocate the departmental budget for weekend personnel and resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local government regulations and compliance standards.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and communicate project updates effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in government, public sector, or non-profit administration.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work a weekend schedule (Saturday/Sunday) as required.
- Experience with government reporting frameworks and regulatory compliance.
