Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate foundations
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, reports, and supporting documents
- Collaborate with program staff to gather project data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application pipeline and submission deadlines using CRM tools
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funding partners
- Prepare grant budgets and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Track funding trends and identify emerging opportunities in the philanthropic landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success
- Portfolio of secured grants totaling $500,000+
- Expertise in non-profit financial management and budgeting
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar grant management systems
- Deep knowledge of Arizona's philanthropic landscape and funding priorities
- Ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
