Responsibilities
- Develop and submit compelling grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Research funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities and program goals
- Collaborate with program directors to craft narratives demonstrating impact and need
- Manage grant reporting processes ensuring compliance and timely submissions
- Maintain accurate grant tracking systems and reporting calendars
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Analyze funding trends and identify new strategic opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $500K+ annual funding secured
- Proven track record with health-focused or social service organizations preferred
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio of successful grant proposals
- Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and private funding landscapes
- Experience with grant management systems (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Ability to translate complex program data into compelling narratives
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
