Responsibilities
- Research and identify strategic grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and program stakeholders
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Analyze program outcomes and incorporate data into compelling impact narratives
- Collaborate with program teams to align grant applications with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate grant tracking systems and reporting calendars
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ successfully funded grant proposals
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Experience with non-profit financial reporting and budget development
- Proficiency in grant management databases (e.g., Salesforce, GrantStation)
- Knowledge of health sector funding priorities and compliance requirements
