Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission and program goals
- Develop compelling, data-driven grant proposals and reports for diverse funding sources
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with 25+ foundation and corporate partners
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact metrics and success stories
- Manage grant pipeline and reporting calendar using Salesforce CRM
- Mentor junior staff on best practices in grant research and writing
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies to maximize success rates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $500K+ secured annually
- Proven track record with federal, state, and foundation grant applications
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio including 5+ successful grant samples
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience managing grant budgets and reporting requirements
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest funding landscape and key foundations
- Certificate in Grant Writing (CFRE or GPC preferred)
