Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding partners and program officers
- Analyze funding opportunities and align organizational needs with grant requirements
- Collaborate with program teams to design impactful project narratives and budgets
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Track funding trends and identify new strategic funding opportunities
- Maintain accurate grant records in our CRM system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research abilities and knowledge of funding landscapes
- Experience with federal grant applications (e.g., SAM.gov)
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant management software
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to community service and non-profit mission
