Responsibilities
- Research and identify funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission and community needs
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and reports for government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors
- Manage grant application process from research through submission and stewardship
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and program narratives
- Maintain accurate grant tracking systems and compliance documentation
- Build relationships with funders and represent organization at relevant events
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal, state, and private foundation grants
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with CRM and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, GrantHub)
- Demonstrated understanding of non-profit financial reporting and compliance
