Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals with 95%+ success rate
- Develop compelling narratives and budgets for complex multi-year funding requests
- Manage relationships with current funders and steward existing grant portfolios
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and reporting requirements
- Stay current on philanthropic trends and compliance regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ secured
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful federal/state/private grant applications
- Expertise in nonprofit financial management and budget development
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Little Green Light)
- Knowledge of South Florida's philanthropic landscape
