Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations aligned with our mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals and narratives with 95%+ funding success rate
- Collaborate with program directors to design budgets and impact metrics
- Manage relationships with 50+ funding partners and steward existing grants
- Maintain compliance with funder requirements and reporting deadlines
- Mentor junior staff and improve organization-wide grant processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven track record with healthcare, education, or community development grants
- Expertise in federal (SAM.gov) and private foundation applications
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit financial management and budgeting
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio samples required
- Experience managing grant databases and reporting systems
