Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting narratives
- Manage 15+ active grant applications simultaneously with strict deadlines
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Prepare reports and compliance documentation for funded projects
- Analyze grant outcomes and optimize funding strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience in nonprofit sector
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ annually in grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Expertise in federal grant applications (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with budget development and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
