Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions that support ADOT’s mission-critical operations.
- Conduct thorough system requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring system reliability and security compliance.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices.
- Oversee the testing and deployment of software upgrades and new applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, requirements engineering, or software development.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Python, C#) and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- State government experience is a significant plus.
