Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Oversee system architecture, ensuring compliance with state security standards and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical infrastructure.
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior analysts and developers.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment, adhering to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Proven experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, or AWS RDS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between state facilities as required.
