Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise software applications and database systems.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical solutions adhere to strict state government security protocols, data privacy laws, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Project Leadership: Manage project lifecycles from conception to deployment, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable solutions to minimize downtime.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing workflows and recommend technology-driven improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, software development, or systems engineering within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#; strong working knowledge of SQL and database management (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement effective, long-term solutions.
