Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic state goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership to ensure project visibility.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project budgets and forecast financial needs to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to project success proactively.
- Ensure strict compliance with state regulations, security standards, and procurement policies.
- Conduct regular stakeholder reviews and report progress using appropriate project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically within IT or government sectors.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or PgMP certification is required.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional teams and budgets.
- Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
