Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex enterprise IT systems and network architectures.
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols, including risk assessments, penetration testing, and incident response planning.
- Manage large-scale IT projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior IT staff and end-users.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local data privacy regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve service delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent years of progressive experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT project management.
- Active certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid California driver's license and proof of Los Angeles County residency.
