Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems, including cloud infrastructure and local networks.
- Lead technical projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to state and federal compliance standards.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to internal staff and county departments.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
