Key Duties:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure systems to support agency operations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for network, server, and application issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline workflows.
- Ensure data security and compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and end-users.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee technology contracts to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware architecture, and cloud environments.
- Experience with database management systems and data security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident eligible for government employment.
