Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems.
- Monitor network performance and security to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Configure and manage servers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and integrate new technologies that improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal IT policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance.
