Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex network architectures and server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for internal stakeholders.
- Enforce strict information security protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through deployment, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to define technical requirements and IT roadmaps.
- Provide expert-level training and technical guidance to junior IT staff and non-technical users.
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT administration, systems engineering, or network architecture.
- Valid certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent professional credentials.
- Deep technical proficiency in Microsoft Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
