Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure and server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Lead the deployment of security patches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive state data.
- Provide high-level technical troubleshooting and support for enterprise applications and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for junior staff and stakeholders on new technologies and protocols.
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Active certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Administrator.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
