Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure solutions.
- Manage complex network environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for government systems.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including risk assessments and strict compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or software development.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects and leading technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
