Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software solutions and cloud-based systems using modern frameworks.
- Oversee system performance monitoring, security compliance, and disaster recovery planning to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding policy makers and developersâto translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Manage stakeholder communications, providing technical insights and status updates on high-profile projects.
- Ensure all technical projects adhere to state security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
