Responsibilities
- Design and deploy robust network security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and compliance standards (e.g., CIP, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system development lifecycle.
- Provide expert consultation and training to staff regarding data privacy and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of federal and state data privacy laws and regulations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and enterprise-grade security tools.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and verbal communication skills.
