Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure/GovCloud).
- Implement and monitor strict security protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST, DIACAP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure solutions for federal clients.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for critical network and system issues.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing.
- Document technical processes, create system architecture diagrams, and develop training materials.
- Prepare reports and presentations for government stakeholders and compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting, civil service, or government IT roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and virtualization tools (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Security: Strong understanding of network security protocols, encryption, and disaster recovery planning.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting and documentation.
