Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot server infrastructure and network operations for federal clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FISMA) and state data privacy regulations.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and guidance to junior staff and end-users.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary security patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all system configurations and change management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be willing to obtain the necessary security clearance.
