Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Maintenance: Design, configure, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Implement and monitor advanced security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and lead incident response efforts to protect sensitive government data.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of enterprise software solutions and hardware upgrades, adhering to strict government compliance standards.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues across various departments.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers to optimize costs and service quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or cybersecurity within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS, Azure, and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions for non-technical stakeholders and staff.
