Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure solutions within the government sector.
- Oversee network security protocols and ensure compliance with state and federal data privacy regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct technical assessments for third-party software and hardware.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to internal government agencies and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver technical training sessions to staff regarding new system implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or systems administration within the public sector or a comparable enterprise environment.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale network architectures and cybersecurity measures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
