Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring strict alignment with county strategic goals and regulatory standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and external vendors, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive team productivity.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, while establishing clear communication channels with stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Monitor project metrics and report progress using data-driven insights to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with federal, state, and local government compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- PMP or PgMP certification is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex IT projects within a government or enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) and data visualization tools.
