Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Manage cross-functional teams of analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to senior leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance with county policies.
- Drive continuous improvement processes to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or large enterprise environments.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-year IT implementations and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud technologies, and government IT standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Confluence.
